Reed beds processing sewage at Clifton waterworks

Our technical manager, Alex Clark, featured in the Water Magazine talking about the financial and ecological benefits of our constructed wetlands when managing wastewater.

All of Englands water bodies are failing to meet good chemical standards, andover 85% are failing to reach good ecological standards. Wastewater from sources such as sewage treatment has degraded many of our water ways, but it does not have to be this way. Using our constructed wetlands water companies are seeing the enormous benefits when processing waste water between water treatment, carbon reduction and habitat creation, compared with traditional water treatment techniques.
