Silt Control

SiltMats assist sediment removal by capturing silt deposits to reduce sediment disposition in river channels. SiltMats are positioned in the river bed downstream of earth or river bed disturbances.

Silt Wattles are a natural method of both sediment control and water erosion control. Silt Wattles are designed for use to slow the flow in channels to treat muddy water by capturing sediment and encouraging natural silt deposition.

Floc Mats are water treatment mats used for fine sediment control in polluted water. They have been designed for water quality management purposes on construction and river restoration sites where muddy waters are likely to be encountered during the work.

Silt Bubble Barriers control turbidity and pollution, including silt and oil, downstream of river restoration works and construction sites.
