As a core element of our work is focused upon healthy rivers we are proud to be supporting the fantastic River Restoration Centre’s Conference 19-20th May.
We have both a legal and moral obligation to ensure that our rivers are healthy, vibrant and full of life. Many of our rivers are failing according to new work from the Environment Agency, with only 17% achieving good status.
It’s important therefore that we support work which improves the health of our rivers and deals with diffuse pollution, erosion etc. This includes conferences such as this which allow people to come together to create sustainable solutions.
Natural flood management and restoring healthy catchments is core to our work as we use natural processes to sort out man made problems.
And maybe the sweetie jar will be back again….
