Salix have been awarded a design and build contract on the River Tywi in Carmarthen.
Various bioengineering techniques will be utilised for the SSSI and SAC site.
A high pressure gas main is being threatened by riverbank erosion and Salix have been appointed to come up with a sustainable design that reinstates the eroded riverbank whilst having minimal impact on this ecologically sensitive river.
