Pond & Lake Lining

Lake and Pond waterproof liners are available in various forms to suit the application. Waterproof sheets have been the traditional choice. They require additional anti puncture protection layers and special bonding of joints.

Simpler to install and less prone to leaks are the Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL). The geosynthetic fabrics that contain the sodium bentonite clay layer have their own strength and puncture resistance in addition to the clay's self sealing property. The requrement of a soil confining load means that they will already have the facility to grow the reeds and marginal plants that are often part of the design requirement.
